What is Google Applied Digital Skills?

Applied Digital Skills is a set of free, video-based technology lessons that prepare learners of all ages for the growing number of jobs that require basic digital skills.

Here's a short introductory video:

How do you use Applied Digital Skills?

When you go to the home page at https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/s/en/home, you will be asked to pick the category that best describes you:

Teacher (watch this video for information on how to use Applied Digital Skills in a classroom setting)

Parent or Guardian

Each category leads to a different path through the lessons that will apply most to the category chosen. If you prefer, you can also go straight to the lessons by collection or all the lessons at https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/c/en/curriculum.html (scroll down past the first collections to see the lessons listed). Lessons can also be filtered by the facets listed on the left side panel. As of October 2020, there are  142 lessons listed so it is helpful to see them by collection. Most lessons can be completed in 45-90 minutes but some are more comprehensive.
